Juli is a free dog. She gets along with everyone and stays out of trouble. She is not immediately visible to newcomers because she tucks herself quietly away in her dog house at the foot of the stairs. When volunteers come to wash that area, she patiently waits to the side and goes back into her house when they are finished. Some dogs will bark or meet you on the path, but not Juli. She can be embarrassed by too much attention, as we saw when we tried to get her to model the BU Paws scarves our dogs wear outside the sanctuary. Now she has the love of her foster family, which will make this gentle dog very happy. Rüya prepared a memory book for her first dog and stories of Juli will fill its pages. You can read the first pages in the photo gallery below.
